slouched

This teddy is looking how I feel, lol,
The papers are the left overs from previous cards I have made today and yesterday, both mottled in green and blue, the slouched teddy (penny black) is watercoloured in blues.

I have done this card with a sketch from http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com and the colour scheme of blue and green from http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com

Wooden House Window

The two photos above are of the front of a card I have been making this arvo, (afternoon)
Its meant to be a window on a wooden house, with flowers up the side and a window sill,
I printed most of it and made it up, then stamped and added half of a Tilda to make it look like she is looking out of the window, I used water colours to colour her in.
I am entering this for the sketch challenge over at http://stampwithfun.blogspot.com
and the THANK YOU challenge over at http://charismacardz.blogspot.com
I have a rotten cold come out today, so I hope its not impaired my crafting lol

Charming ..... its a Boy card

My Brother asked me to do a card for his friend, he heard this morning that they had a little boy,
So me being me just had to do one that I could use in a challenge, (yes I am obsessed by challenges - but it makes me do things I am not used to doing and helps get a stock up for my charity stalls and ebay)

I used a DL blank that I had in my stash, some mottled blue backing paper, I dry embossed the play cube (building block) the the Bunny is sitting on using my keepsake board.
The bunny was stamped and embossed and I used sakura pens to colour him, stamped the sentiment added the little teddy charm.
The insert is a matching pale blue.

I am going to enter this for the challenge over at http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com

whic is a non combining challenge, and the theme was to use a charm.

Cutie Sunday meets Colourcreate

This card is Cutie Sunday sketch meets with Colourcreates colours for this weeks challenges,
I stamped and embossed my little letter forever friend bear three times in gold, then coloured him in Brown, Green and Orange, they are mounted onto a brown centre strip which is also mounted onto mottled green backing paper, all on a pale orange card, I have added 3 gems to follow the sketch, and it didnt look finished so I added some peel off corners on each of the three little bears,
The insert is a pale patterned paper with two of the little bears stamped on it, left un coloured,
I think this would make a lovely notlet card even for a MAN to use.

Sweet Daisy May

Here is my final card for today,
I used a Daisy May Digi Stamp, coloured her with watercolours, and added gems to her bucket and hand, then followed the sketch over at the sweet shop,
the base card is pale yellow, the backing paper is mottled green, also added gems to the three sparkly sequin flowers,
for the challenges I am entering this in and you can enter as well, they are at:-
and

Spots, Stripes, Ribbon, and a cute little mouse,

I was over the moon for a second time today, first with the post this morning as I got a lovely package from Kim, with some lovely stamped images in that I shall use very soon, THANK YOU SO MUCH KIM, you can see it here - http://kimscardcorner.blogspot.com/2009/04/wallet-card-images-for-angie.html?showComment=1241038380000#c8607288473805942949
and then when the parcel man came at lunch time with my create and craft order of my Cute Companions discs and limited edition stamps, so I just had to cut the stamps up and use one, this one is called lily and I think she is so beautiful,

I stamped and embossed her, then used sakura pens to colour her, used my silly scissors to cut the edges
and used the theme of spots and stripes from http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/

Spotty Friend................ hee hee hee

I have used spotty paper and plain yellow paper to match from my stash,
I coloured Tilda with sakura souffle pens, made my own bows, and also the scalloped edge embellishment as well, added matching ribbon, and a 'friend' sentiment,
This follows the spotty challenge on http://www.kelliewinnell.com.au/magnolia/?p=443
I do like her in this pose, as it always reminds me of me, hee hee,
Hugs
Angie

Beautiful Day just right for FLOWERS

I have been busy crafting again this morning, (not suning myself in the garden - lol),
I have stamped and embossed the flowering water can in gold onto black, then coloured with sakura pens, (oh my dont they change colours on black instead of white) the whole image has a lovely metallic look, (yet again my photo skils are rubbish),
and the theme of flowers or showers on http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com
the flowers and dragonflys are acetate stickers, and a material flower with a large brad centre, sticky ribbon have all come out of my stash.
The insert is a shaped corner oblong to match the backing paper on the front, which also came from my stash,
Hopefully will be back later with more cards,
hugs
Angie

Stamp and Smiles Thursday Sketch

This card I really enjoyed doing this evening,
as the colour is my favourite,
and I adore this Sarah Kay image,
I coloured her with water colours,
and then did my take on the sketch over at http://sasthefreshbatch.blogspot.com/
I have also done a matching lilac plain insert for this card.

I water coloured the images, then cut them out to make them 3d and sitting on the see - saw,
the whole card is in pinks and greens, the bright flowers on the green background are actually pink as well, just doesnt look that pink in the photo.

Whiff Of Joy - Sketch Challenge

Here is my take on the sketch over at http://wojmondaychallenge.blogspot.com/2009/04/challenge-27.html

I stamped, embossed and water coloured then cut her out, then mounted up the several layers onto gold mirri board, added some gorgeous ribbon tags with brads, and a couple of the flowers I won a little while ago from max, (thank you) added two little gold gems in their centres,
The insert in this card is the same as the backing paper.

and anything goes is the challenge over at http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com
The backing paper comes from funkyfairy - click on the link in my side bar,
The stamp is from Penny Black, I watercoloured him, then clear embossed in clear ink and powder, to give a tile effect, I cant get the sheen to show properly in the photo,
I enjoyed doing this card as I had never done the clear embossing before, and I like the finished item.

DIgi Image Bookmark, Green Brown and Pink, plus entered into a Candy Draw

and have followed the sketch challenge from http://charismacardz.blogspot.com
I handstamped the two little cupcakes with my free gift set of stamps from the do crafts creativity magazine this month, added a few little peel offs, and also did the insert to match.

I am watching create and craft, and have just purchased the limited edition of cite companions,
it is literally only going to last as long as the stock does, its going very quickly,
if you cant get create and craft on the telly, go online and watch it,
back tom with more cards etc,
hugs
Angie

ps I am nothing to do with create and craft apart from being a good customer of theirs, lol

Dovecote Card/gift/keepsake

Today I have been happily playing and making this dovecote, complete with roses, doves, fairy (charm) and a butterfly,
Will make a box for this as well like I did the tractor earlier this week,
I am entering this for two challenges,
I had cut out about a third of the pieces yesterday before my headache had set in, and the rest took me nearly all of today, till just before I posted this.
The only thing I cheated on was using double sided tape instead of wet glue, as I was to impatient for it to dry, so that means it wasnt really a cheat, doesnt it, lol

Boxed Tractor

My Tractor is off to its new owner today, so I had to make the box for it,
Just thought I would post it on here for you to see,
The colour choice for the box was the choice of the customer, not mine, I dont think its does the tractor justice, but the customer is always right,,,,,,,,,, possibly lol,
At least the money that I have got coming for this will be going towards my local RSPCA,
back l8rs with more bits n pieces,
Hope your all having a super weekend,

What I am DOING this weekend is .............. supporting my local RSPCA

Hello Everyone,

Today I have had and still got a massive headache, it just wont go away,
So hence why no crafting done and no blogging posts, I have popped on and left comments,

But what I am doing this weekend is .................
Donating all the sales from my ebay postings apart from the postage cost to my local RSPCA,

If you would like to go to my ebay shop please see the link on my side bar, click and it should take you there,

It will not say charity sale on ebay becouse they wont let me give it directly to my local rspca,
But I will gladly post a receipt on here for anyone to see,

This also includes any bids put on between now and sunday evening at 10pm (gmt) on items that finish during the week,

I just want to try and help my local rspca as they are inundated with animals at the moment.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, much appreciated,
and a BIGGER Thank you if you help spread the word.

Hope to be back to normal tom with blog posts,
Hugs
Angie,

Jewellery candy anyone ???

I was blog hopping and found this ladys wonderful blog,
Now all jewellery makers I envy, as I do not have the patience to sit and do it,
They all have my respect,

Anyways go take a look at this lovely ladies jewellery over at, http://muranosilver.blogspot.com/

Project Tuesday with a Digi Image,

Here is my version of the Project Tuesday over at http://stampsandsmiles.blogspot.com
and I am also entering this for the challenge over at http://modernsugarblvd.blogspot.com
which is to use the digi image they have supplied,
I altered the image and cut of the long scarf, and as you can see from the pictures, I have done bother sides of the bag that I made from the Project Tuesday,
If it doesnt show very well in the photos I used a leather look type card to make the bag, then added matching ribbons to make the handles, Printed the digi image and coloured with sakura pens, (still cant afford to get copics), and then add my peel offs, and a tag, this has been done on both side hence the two photos.

Colours, Dry Embossing, and a sketch, - Note Pad

This afternoon/evening I originally set out to make a card for some combined challenges,
I did start with a A5 card, then decided to go down to a A6 but cut it wrong,
So instead of wasting anything, I thought I would do the card with a top spine instead of side spine,
once I had done the cover which is layered dry embossing, in pink and green, and added the sarah kay stamped, coloured with watercolours of pinks, browns, and greens,
All I could think of was note pad, so I cut up some white paper and layered several sheets inside to make this finished project.
This is my entry for 3 challenges, they are
1) colour scheme of brown/pink/green at
Hope You like it,
hugs
Angie

Fairy Poet

Here is my latest card I made today,
Its a combination of a sketch from http://mojomonday.blogspot.com
and the theme K - Keep it simple from http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com
The inside is the same as the outside, apart from the change of the background behind the poem on the inside,
I stamped and embossed the poem straight onto the same paper that came from my stash, then cut it out and mounted it, added a ribbon of pink butterflys, and punches two more butterflys to double up in the corner

Forever Friends - Red & White

I have made this card by using H2O's that I just painted the background with, and then after stamping and embossing my bears, I used the same two H2O's Red and White, and coloured the bears and the hearts and the rose, I used a green sakura gel pen for the leaves and stems,
mounted it onto red card and also made the four corners out of the bit of scrap red card left over from the mounting,

I am entering this into the red and white challeng on the forever friends blog, which you can visit here - http://foreverfriendschallengeblog.blogspot.com

Cross Stitched Bookmark - no2 for a candy with a twist,

Yay I have finished it in time before the candy with a challenge draw ends over at
http://changeofheart56.blogspot.com/2009/04/my-yummy-candy-with-challenge.html

I have sat and cross stitched this bookmark in 3 colours, red, pink and white,

Cheeky card for a great sketch challenge ......

There is a super sketch over at http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com

Here is my take on that sketch,
I adore this cat in the bra from Penny Black stamps, so I stamped and watercoloured and sakura penned it, then did my take on the sketch from papertake weekly for this week,

This card has already been sold, so half the money I have got for it will go to my local RSPCA,
What I am doing is selling my cards I am making and giving a percentage of each sale and saving it up to a sensible amount and then regularly donating it to my local RSPCA.

Recycle Or Re Use,

I was totally and I mean TOTALLY out of my comfort zone this afternoon doing this,
Not the recycling bit, as I do that as much as I can, but I mean the glass painting bit,
I have made this odd glass we had, that hubby kept trying to get rid of, into a tea light candle holder, (even tho theres no candle in it when I took the picture as it didnt look right unlit)
I put two rose peel offs on either side of the main part of the glass and two leave peel offs around the base of the stem, then I coloured using souffle and glaze sakura pens,
There was a knack to keeping it level so it would dry without running etc,
I am entering this for the challenge over at http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com
I am please with the outcome, and might even do more, as I think they might sell well for the local RSPCA that I support with all of my sales

Scrip, Scrap Scruuuuuuuu,,,,,,

Having a mad nutty moment, so hence the title for this card, tehehehe,
I named it that becouse its used up a lot of my scrips and scraps,
But other than being good using them up, I have made it go along with 3 challenges,
The first challenge was a recipe of 3 flowers (there are 3 roses) 2 buttons, (which where white so I coloured them pink to match) and ribbon/Lace, this challenge is at
The second challenge was Daisy May and Glitter, which is on here pink outfit and the mirror on the dressing table and also the mirror on the powder compact, over at http://cutedaisymay.blogspot.com
The third challenge was a sketch, this is my take on that sketch over at http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com
cya soon,
hugs
Angie

Black, White and One, with a sketch,

I have chose Purple to go with my Black and white for the challenge on
and also did my take on the sketch challenge over at
The whole thing has been made from Black, White and Purple,
I even stamped and embossed purple butterflies on the topper, and found a purple skeleton leaf as well,
I made this into a gift voucher/money wallet style card, and took a photo of the inside as well, so you could see,
I know, I know, My photo's are rubbish, I can never get good shots,

Black, White, Pink and Polka Dots,

Just had to nip one more in today,
so I made this card for the challenge over at http://colourcreatechallenge.blogspot.com/
I did a gatefold A5 card, found some lovely pink polkadot paper out of my stash for the fronts,
then made a lovely topper out of die cuts that I got from Sassy Designs shop, (see link on side bar),
The inside I used a Funky Fairys paper (see link on side bar), and pink ribbon butterflys to match the one on the hat,

Magnolia ,,,,,,,,,

For this card I watercoloured Edwin then 3d him onto the sakura coloured cupcake,
Then I followed the sketch for the challenge on, http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/2009/04/we-have-lift-off-week-1-sketch-for-you.html
also entering it for the challenge cupcake magnolia on
http://www.kelliewinnell.com.au/magnolia/?p=393

The flowers I made myself by following and adapting the brilliant tuturial on,
http://meholder.blogspot.com/2009/03/paper-flower-tutorial.html
I add a bit of sparkle on the flower petals by using a glitter pen

Cutie Sketch and Recycled challenges

Here for my second card I have made today,
I have stamped this cute little Elly, and coloured him with sakura glaze pens,
I have used recycled (scrap bits) that I collect from making other cards, to make the topper background with the elephant on, and also to make the four squares on the back of the card,
and the little pearls and gold flower where bits that I had laying around that where from other things as well,
And for the great sketch challenge pop over to,
will be back later today with more card(s),
Well I did tell you I am a craftaholic, tehehehe,

Hand Cut decoupage planes

Good Morning, Its a beautiful day, nice and sunny,
I have made this hand cut decoupage card this morning, its of two planes, that I hand cut out and decoupaged up, then embossed the front of the card and cut down the embossing,
found two papers from my stash, and cut them to go on the card,
I also added a skeleton leaf, not sure why it just felt right,
I am entering this in the decorative cuts challenge over at http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.com/
