Hip Flask card for a male

This afternoon I have been busy making this 3d hip flask for a male,

I had a template that I hadnt used yet and was itching to do it, and with the challenge of male card over at http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com today, there couldnt be a better excuse to use it, I used a leather look type card and mirri card, This stamped image was coloured with h2o's and the little dangler was shrink plastic and coloured to match. added some silver peel offs as well.

As you can see from the second photo the lid actually comes of, so if need be you could possible fill the hip flask with small sweets etc.

Its a combination of three challenges,

The backing paper was a freebie on some magazine from ages ago, the card stock is a deep dark red, I water coloured tilda even did the stripes on her dress, added some faux stitching around the edge, The insert is decorated to match the outside of the card.

Have been running around like a madman today with housework thrown in as well as the kids, lol,

Just had to take time out and make a card, you can see the results above,

The stamp I used was a cheapy from a boot fair so I dont know whose make it is etc, just loved the saying, the background paper came from the candy win I won from Jeanette that arrived all the way from Canada this morning, THANK YOU SO MUCH JEANETTE. Will use my WOJ stamp laters.

The two butterfly embellishments where two I found in my stash drawers, (still got tons to use up)

The insert I have is just plain pale pink.

Congratulations to my son and his footy team, and a card for a challenge or two ;)

First of all I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to my son Hayden and all in his football team the CHELMSFORD CITY WHITES (under 11's) as they won their cup final today 2 - 0.

He wont let me put a photo of him on with his trophy........ yet,

I used the Pennyblack stamp of the 3 darling mice with the scrummy cupcake, stamped and coloured in watercolours,

The inside of this card has a plain blue insert to match the background card.

Colours, Dry Embossing, and a sketch, - Note Pad

This afternoon/evening I originally set out to make a card for some combined challenges,

I did start with a A5 card, then decided to go down to a A6 but cut it wrong,

So instead of wasting anything, I thought I would do the card with a top spine instead of side spine,

once I had done the cover which is layered dry embossing, in pink and green, and added the sarah kay stamped, coloured with watercolours of pinks, browns, and greens,

All I could think of was note pad, so I cut up some white paper and layered several sheets inside to make this finished project.

Scrip, Scrap Scruuuuuuuu,,,,,,

Having a mad nutty moment, so hence the title for this card, tehehehe,

I named it that becouse its used up a lot of my scrips and scraps,

But other than being good using them up, I have made it go along with 3 challenges,

Tractor bought my mojo back ........

Well, as most of you saw yesterday my mojo had gone for a wander,

Wanted to say thank you to Danni for the encouragement, means a lot to me,

So last night I sat and tried something totally different for me, and yes it turned out to be a tractor,

I finished it this morning, Its not perfect by far, but its the first time of trying to make one, and I did quite enjoy it,

so I shall enter it for that,

My brother asked for a card the other day to do with tractors, so if he likes this I will make a box for it and he can give this instead of a flat card,

I embossed and cut the edge of the green card, and then did the same to the blue paper that I used for backing, stamped and watered coloured my little penny black hedgehog, mounted it onto yellow, added my sentiment, and a yellow ribbon and bow,
