Colours, Dry Embossing, and a sketch, - Note Pad

This afternoon/evening I originally set out to make a card for some combined challenges,

I did start with a A5 card, then decided to go down to a A6 but cut it wrong,

So instead of wasting anything, I thought I would do the card with a top spine instead of side spine,

once I had done the cover which is layered dry embossing, in pink and green, and added the sarah kay stamped, coloured with watercolours of pinks, browns, and greens,

All I could think of was note pad, so I cut up some white paper and layered several sheets inside to make this finished project.

ELVIS Memory Bag Album - I just love this - Sparkle challenge entry

As some of you know, I adore Elvis, and just had to make this memory bag album,

I have stamped embossed some of the images like the ones on the cover, and on photos 5 and 6,

these all have sparkle, ( I just cant get it to show in photo properly)

the other images I have printed and made into backgrounds or tags,

The last photo (#7) has the album back and the tags and bookmarks that I have made to put in the pockets that are in the ends of some the pages,

I am really pleased with this, hope you enjoyed looking at it,

Cutie Sunday Sketch

After all that washing and boring housework stuff, I just had to make a card,
I made this card following the sketch on Cutie Sunday, so I am entering it into their challenge,

The stamp is an old one I had and came from personal impression,
I stamped in black, embossed in clear, and watercoloured with my pencils,

The little saying 'celebrate today' came from my stash, its a foiled one,
The yarn down the side also came from my stash, it was kindly sent to me from a friend from the making greetings card yahoo group I belong to.

New Baby Card

For my first post today, I have made this new baby card, Its all embossing and peel offs, and cutting out, the main nappy is embossed on several layers of pearlised card, then the safety pin is embossed on silver mirri card, and the two cute teddies are lemon card,

this opens up and free stands as you can see, with the back of the card being the same shape as the front,

I used one of the many glitter girls (keepsake) embossing boards to do this card with, and general peel offs that I had in my stash,

I made the back ground papers myself, then stamped the Rose in black, embossed it with holographic powder, and coloured it in with sakura pens,

My spring stamp challenge entry, gift box ornament,

Using a gorgeous stamp I have had for ages and ages and never used hardly at all, as always been worried about stamping, but thanks to challenges on here and especially for this one on http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/, I adore stamping now, need to get more stamps to play with,

This beautiful gift box/hanging decoration I made by stamping 4 images, cutting them out and cutting the centres out, I embossed it in silver powder, then coloured it in various h2o's, all 4 sides are the same colours,

the card I did all this on is a lovely pale pastel green,

This is approx 6" tall and each side is approx 3" wide,

I glued them all together, and fastened the top with gold ribbon, so it can be used as a opener to the box or a hanger to the decoration,

I thought this might be nice to put chocolates or gifts in, or/and use as a hanging decoration for easter as well,
