FunkyFairy Challenge

Hi, over at http://funkyfairyschallengeblog.blogspot.com/ they have a recipe challenge this week, it is for One Image, Two papers, and Three embellishments,

The card above is my entry,
My one Image came from Daisymay digistamps, I coloured her in sakura pens, and also the edge of the cameo to match her dress,
I used the two papers on the card, these came from funkfairy see the link on the side bar,
and my 3 embellishments, are one piece of pink lace, folded at the corner, one pink ribbon, and a pink gem brad that came from candy winnings the other day, (see previous post)

I have been playing again this morning, and the photo is what I have came up with,

I am entering this in for three challenges,

The base card is black, then I used a faint strawberry paper for the backgrounds, added the WOJ stamp, which is coloured in white, black and a pale pink, then decorated with pink lace and white and pink bows.

Lilac and Blue - colour create challenge

Its Lilac and Blues, which are top of my favourite colours, so just had to participate in it,
The tag is pale lilac, edged in deep lilac, stamped in lilac coloured in shades of blues and lilacs,
even the greeting is coloured in lilac, all mounted on a blue card, with dark lilac corners, and not forgetting the little blue butterfly and ribbon,

abc challenge card - H is for hearts

For this challenge card, I made a standing heart card,

I stamped and embossed faint butterflys on the back, and then darker butterflys on the layered heart, then added two stamped and embossed lovely michael strong stamp butterflys,

this is in white and golds,

I made the back ground papers myself, then stamped the Rose in black, embossed it with holographic powder, and coloured it in with sakura pens,

I am getting addicted to stamping now, in case y'all hadnt noticed,

I used to be so worried and frightened of stamping, but seeing some challenges on blogspot, and other sites like stamptv.comand Michael Strong stamping yahoo group, etc,
I thought I would try it out, and now you can all see the results,

My advice is dont be frightened or worried, just try it, if not sure try on scrap first, then practice,

my card I stamped for a challenge

Hello,

This is the card i was talking about yesterday,

I am pleased with myself for this, as I am not a big stamper, and have not done hardly any stamping at all, but this I made from scratch, I used my little cat head stamp, (dont know whose make it is sorry) and then coloured it with water colours, and mounted them onto cream card cut with edging scissors, also stamped the word 'friends' on the main card,

Going to make some more time to create some stamping cards,
