Red & Green and a cute ted,

Hello Everybody on this dull damp day,

This card is a commissioned card,

and falls nicely into the challenge of red and green over at

Stampavie and More,

I used a 6 x 6 backin paper on card stock,

then stamped my popcorn bear, coloured him with water colour pens,

Busy crafting so will have more photo's later,

Snow Globe Pop Up Card ..............

This gorgeous snow globe pop up card,

is a idea I had early this morning, so decided to have a go, and I am really pleased with the outcome of it.

The snow globe is a die cut from Die Cut Dreams and the lovely image is my winning stamp from the crafty pad challenge I won a week ago, just couldn't wait to use it.

I have made it into a pop up card,

I stamped and embossed the image in glitter gold embossing powder, and use my sakura pens to colour it with, which also have glittery effect in them, I used peels off's for the edges and words.

Floppy Beret Hat and a Thank You

I finished sewing this together last night, its a lovely floppy Beret in aran wool,

and is nice and warm to wear, the pictures show the ways it can be worn,

I would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Crafty Princess for the wonderful card

that arrived this morning, Dad just rung and they both love it, if you would like to see the gorgeous card pop over to HERE and have a look.

New Hat made and some new stamps arrived,

Last night while watching the telly, I crocheted this beanie hat in a lovely purple with flecks of brown and black in it,

This morning the posty brought me my new stamps that I treated myself to from create n craft last week, they are the birdhouses that Jayne Nestorenko was using on the tv.

So I am playing with a set, might not get it finished today,

but you never know, also my oldest son is home from school with a sore throat, and cold

so keep getting interrupted running after him with drinks n food,(not that I mind, as I love my sons dearly)

Back with the birdhouse when it has dried and ready, just been colouring it in this morning

so got to cut out and assemble and decorate more.

Slipper Socks

These are photo's of the slipper socks for my son that I finished crocheting last night,

I would also like to say A MASSIVE THANK YOU to the people that where kind enough to read the earlier post (see below) and have offered to send my Dad & Mum a cheery card.

I can not say in words how much this means to me, and will do to them when they receive them.

One card - Three challenges

I have combined challenges again, this card will be going into three challenges (links at end of post)

I used my pens to colour the forever friends reading bear stamp and the embossed details of the cameo, used two butterfly punches to make up the butterflys, I have only used white,green and blue on this card, the paper even has birds on it.

I decorated the insert with my pattern scissors and stamped reading bear again, and then borrowed the idea I see on Jeanettes blog this morning for stamping the envelope as well,

Just the one more card before I go to bed, I adore this picture, and forgotten I had this disc, its the Joanna Sheens Pamela West cd set, This card I think looks stunning, but was so easy to make, two toppers, two sheets of backing papers, and little tag and some gold mirri board, all matted and layered onto a white A5 card.

Pink Party Sketch

The image on this card was kindly stamped and sent to me by Kim, Thank you Kim, hope the ones I have sent you turn up shortly.

I coloured this lovely image with my sakura pens as I wanted it nice and bright, then I used a cotton bud and pink ink to colour the edges, (never done that bit before) and then followed the sketch from http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com and the pink comes from http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com

I didnt intentionally mean to do the pink for this card, but after I had coloured the image, I went into my stash drawer and this black and mirror pink papers just jumped out at me, so just had to follow the flow.
The inside is just a pale pink plain insert so thats why I didnt photo it.
Sorry I dont know whose make of stamp it is, but I do like them.

Flowers galore

I wanted to do a little something that was different from totally stamping, so above is the results,
I did watercolour the stamped hedgehog, but for a difference, I embossed the brown card and cut it up to look like a flower pot, I then cut, punched, embellished, gems, the flowers and put them on the two layer scalloped oval, I also then embossed the pale blue backing, using my cuttlebog folder, I then hand cut out and 3d a decoupage butterfly. this is all on a pale lilac card.

Wooden House Window

The two photos above are of the front of a card I have been making this arvo, (afternoon)

Its meant to be a window on a wooden house, with flowers up the side and a window sill,

I printed most of it and made it up, then stamped and added half of a Tilda to make it look like she is looking out of the window, I used water colours to colour her in.

Dovecote Card/gift/keepsake

Today I have been happily playing and making this dovecote, complete with roses, doves, fairy (charm) and a butterfly,

Will make a box for this as well like I did the tractor earlier this week,

I had cut out about a third of the pieces yesterday before my headache had set in, and the rest took me nearly all of today, till just before I posted this.

The only thing I cheated on was using double sided tape instead of wet glue, as I was to impatient for it to dry, so that means it wasnt really a cheat, doesnt it, lol

Cheeky card for a great sketch challenge ......

Here is my take on that sketch,
I adore this cat in the bra from Penny Black stamps, so I stamped and watercoloured and sakura penned it, then did my take on the sketch from papertake weekly for this week,

This card has already been sold, so half the money I have got for it will go to my local RSPCA,
What I am doing is selling my cards I am making and giving a percentage of each sale and saving it up to a sensible amount and then regularly donating it to my local RSPCA.

Recycle Or Re Use,

I was totally and I mean TOTALLY out of my comfort zone this afternoon doing this,

Not the recycling bit, as I do that as much as I can, but I mean the glass painting bit,

I have made this odd glass we had, that hubby kept trying to get rid of, into a tea light candle holder, (even tho theres no candle in it when I took the picture as it didnt look right unlit)

I put two rose peel offs on either side of the main part of the glass and two leave peel offs around the base of the stem, then I coloured using souffle and glaze sakura pens,

There was a knack to keeping it level so it would dry without running etc,

I did a gatefold A5 card, found some lovely pink polkadot paper out of my stash for the fronts,

The inside I used a Funky Fairys paper (see link on side bar), and pink ribbon butterflys to match the one on the hat,

I have stamped this cute little Elly, and coloured him with sakura glaze pens,

I have used recycled (scrap bits) that I collect from making other cards, to make the topper background with the elephant on, and also to make the four squares on the back of the card,

Hand Cut decoupage planes

Good Morning, Its a beautiful day, nice and sunny,

I have made this hand cut decoupage card this morning, its of two planes, that I hand cut out and decoupaged up, then embossed the front of the card and cut down the embossing,

found two papers from my stash, and cut them to go on the card,

I also added a skeleton leaf, not sure why it just felt right,
