Just the one more before me bed

Just the one more card before I go to bed, I adore this picture, and forgotten I had this disc, its the Joanna Sheens Pamela West cd set, This card I think looks stunning, but was so easy to make, two toppers, two sheets of backing papers, and little tag and some gold mirri board, all matted and layered onto a white A5 card.

Corn striped Matilda

Above are three photos of the card I have made this evening,

Its a combination of three challenges,

The backing paper was a freebie on some magazine from ages ago, the card stock is a deep dark red, I water coloured tilda even did the stripes on her dress, added some faux stitching around the edge, The insert is decorated to match the outside of the card.

Round and Round and Round,

I really had fun making this card this morning, I knew that I had to use a stampavie stamp and circles or rounds, so just let me mojo flow, the sarah kay image was sent to me by a friend, as I dont own any stamps myself yet, (on my want or should I say NEED list).

I coloured her in with watercolours and cut her out with a slight edge left round her,used stamping up double sided paper to cut out my lace work on,

added a very large brad, some smaller brads and some round gold coloured gems,

then for the insert I used a brown plain paper, added a green circle and flowers with a couple of green gems this time, to tie in with the front of the card.

Mojo Hedgehog

This is my take on the mojo sketch challenge, http://mojomonday.blogspot.com

I adore these little penny black hedgehogs, and just had to use another one,

I used 3 different papers from my papermania pad, scalloped the long one on the left of the card, then split the other part between the other two papers, used a contrasting paper ribbon across the middle and a bit of the scrap for the extra bit just under the little hedgie, who was coloured with watercolours.

As you can see I have also done the inside to match, with the same papers.

Metallic Memories Sketch

This card just had to be done for the Memories challenge over at http://craftycreationschallenges.blogspot.com becouse this little image I have used reminds of the days when my dear old dad was a postman, and also of our very first cat.

I watercoloured the pennyblack image of the posty cat, and mounted this and other layers on silver mirri board, added a gem, and some brads.

I have also done a nice insert for this car as well.

This card had to be done as a good online friend Yvonne had a giggle with me this morning about bags, I see this and thought of that and also my dear old dad.

Have been running around like a madman today with housework thrown in as well as the kids, lol,

Just had to take time out and make a card, you can see the results above,

The stamp I used was a cheapy from a boot fair so I dont know whose make it is etc, just loved the saying, the background paper came from the candy win I won from Jeanette that arrived all the way from Canada this morning, THANK YOU SO MUCH JEANETTE. Will use my WOJ stamp laters.

The two butterfly embellishments where two I found in my stash drawers, (still got tons to use up)

The insert I have is just plain pale pink.

Flowers and Dragonfly's

I have stamped and embossed my round Dragonfly and Lilly onto a blut card, I then used sakura pens to colour it in, mounted it onto white card cut round it with my scallop scissors, and the backing paper is a bit I had in my bits to use up stash, added a sheer ribbon then put my stamped image onto the centre of the card.

Treble Challenge card

Seeing as I lost a lot of crafting time today becouse I took my youngest to a boot fair this morning, and going to loose a lot of crafting tom (sun) as its my middle sons football cup final,
I have made this card suitable for three challenges,

I used my new Whiff of Joy stamp that I won in a previous challenge, embossed her and coloured her with sakuras again, cut her out in what I thought looked like a raindrop shape to go along with the stamp, (dont like the shape I ended up with but wasnt going to waste her),
I have used the list components which are 6 brads (hearts) 3 flowers, and one ribbon,

will be about some time tom with more crafty creations, hope you are all having a super weekend.
