Black, White, Red and a sketch,

Just as the title says Black, White and Red, with a sketch.
I always think these three colours look so smart together, and with a nice clean crisp sketch that suits it all. The small bit of colouring on the penny black image is a red sakura pen,

Mojo Hedgehog

This is my take on the mojo sketch challenge, http://mojomonday.blogspot.com
I adore these little penny black hedgehogs, and just had to use another one,
I used 3 different papers from my papermania pad, scalloped the long one on the left of the card, then split the other part between the other two papers, used a contrasting paper ribbon across the middle and a bit of the scrap for the extra bit just under the little hedgie, who was coloured with watercolours.
As you can see I have also done the inside to match, with the same papers.

Metallic Memories Sketch

This card just had to be done for the Memories challenge over at http://craftycreationschallenges.blogspot.com becouse this little image I have used reminds of the days when my dear old dad was a postman, and also of our very first cat.
I watercoloured the pennyblack image of the posty cat, and mounted this and other layers on silver mirri board, added a gem, and some brads.
I have also done a nice insert for this car as well.
This card had to be done as a good online friend Yvonne had a giggle with me this morning about bags, I see this and thought of that and also my dear old dad.

Sweet Colours

Here is the card that I made this afternoon, It will be my last post for today as I am going to sit and knit tonight, I really want to get this dog finished and out of the way as have some crochet ponchos that I need to get started on.

This little hedgie is from penny black stamps, hes been stamped and embossed then coloured in water colours,
I followed the sketch from http://sweetstopsketches.blogspot.com and used the colours from http://www.kwernerdesign.com

Will be catching up on my comments on the blogs I follow later, hope you all have a great crafty time.

Flowers galore

I wanted to do a little something that was different from totally stamping, so above is the results,
I did watercolour the stamped hedgehog, but for a difference, I embossed the brown card and cut it up to look like a flower pot, I then cut, punched, embellished, gems, the flowers and put them on the two layer scalloped oval, I also then embossed the pale blue backing, using my cuttlebog folder, I then hand cut out and 3d a decoupage butterfly. this is all on a pale lilac card.

This fits into the challenges on these blogs -

Congratulations to my son and his footy team, and a card for a challenge or two ;)

First of all I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to my son Hayden and all in his football team the CHELMSFORD CITY WHITES (under 11's) as they won their cup final today 2 - 0.

He wont let me put a photo of him on with his trophy........ yet,

Above is the card I have made this afternoon after warming up spending most of the day in that cold wind watching him play footy,

It follows the sketch on http://trulyscrumptiouschallenges.blogspot.com

and the requirements of shapes on http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com

and lastly the FACE challenge on http://lotstodocallenges.blogspot.com

I used the Pennyblack stamp of the 3 darling mice with the scrummy cupcake, stamped and coloured in watercolours,

The inside of this card has a plain blue insert to match the background card.
