Pennyblack saturday challenge #42 entry

Today I treated myself to 2 new stamps, both Penny Black ones,

I stamped and embossed in black, then watercoloured with pencils, The cat is grey,
and the little chicks are yellow in a brown basket,
I thought these colours remind me of spring along with the chicks,

First Bottle card - Hints and tips welcome please,

Hello everyone,

This is the very first 3d bottle card I have made,

I am quite pleased with this even though its not perfect as you can see,

but with practice I am sure it will get better and easier to do,

Has anyone out there done these before that could give me any hints and tips to make them easier,

Three football cards

All three of the above cards I have made today,

they are all pyramaged by myself from pictures I have got, these where made for a friends children that have birthdays shortly,

the man utd one my son gave to his friend this afternoon,

I am hopefully going to get more time today or tom, to do more stamping as its my new found love,

My spring stamp challenge entry, gift box ornament,

Using a gorgeous stamp I have had for ages and ages and never used hardly at all, as always been worried about stamping, but thanks to challenges on here and especially for this one on http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/, I adore stamping now, need to get more stamps to play with,

This beautiful gift box/hanging decoration I made by stamping 4 images, cutting them out and cutting the centres out, I embossed it in silver powder, then coloured it in various h2o's, all 4 sides are the same colours,

the card I did all this on is a lovely pale pastel green,

This is approx 6" tall and each side is approx 3" wide,

I glued them all together, and fastened the top with gold ribbon, so it can be used as a opener to the box or a hanger to the decoration,

I thought this might be nice to put chocolates or gifts in, or/and use as a hanging decoration for easter as well,

These are my choice of spring colours,

I received this wonderful award a little while ago, but hadnt posted it yet, as have been busy back and fro to the hospital, specialists etc with my eldest, (he is ok now, its not a hernia or appendix trouble but the labelled it as a viral infection) this has been going on and off since beginning of January,

Now I have had time to start rubber stamping and sort out who I would love these awards to go to, theres one above (javablu award) and one below, (the spreader of love award),

I am getting addicted to stamping now, in case y'all hadnt noticed,

I used to be so worried and frightened of stamping, but seeing some challenges on blogspot, and other sites like stamptv.comand Michael Strong stamping yahoo group, etc,
I thought I would try it out, and now you can all see the results,

My advice is dont be frightened or worried, just try it, if not sure try on scrap first, then practice,

Forever Friends Card for a challenge

I have stamped and coloured this forever friends birthday card for the challenge on http://foreverfriendschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2009/03/challenge-st-patricks-day.html

I used my waterbrush and sakura pens to colour the bears in with, then straight sakura penned the edges of the layering's, the corners are also peels offs with green in them as well,

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Above are photos of the cards my lovely boys gave me, and the wonderful hydrangea plant they got me, along with a box of my favourite chocolates (apart from hersheys) Guylian sea shells, and also had my hair cut on thursday just gone,

I really didnt expect all of this after having my hair cut and coloured,

I am a very happy mum,

There was a lovely verse writen by youngest son Delcan in the purple flower card he made for me at school, it reads :-

a recipe for a perfect mum,

take a beautiful smile,

some soft hugs,

and loving kisses,

mix really well,

the results are great,

you have made my mum,

to say it brought a tear to my eyes, is the least,

just had to share it with you all,

my card I stamped for a challenge

Hello,

This is the card i was talking about yesterday,

I am pleased with myself for this, as I am not a big stamper, and have not done hardly any stamping at all, but this I made from scratch, I used my little cat head stamp, (dont know whose make it is sorry) and then coloured it with water colours, and mounted them onto cream card cut with edging scissors, also stamped the word 'friends' on the main card,

Going to make some more time to create some stamping cards,

two more items finished totally,

Here are another two items i finished today, I actually finished 3 items today but one i shall keep you in supspense over till i post it on here tom,

there is a crocheted sausage dog draught excluder,

and 3d decoupaged anniversary card,

let me know what ya'll think,

My Sons Crafting for his school project,

Today I want to show off my middle son Hayden's craftyness,

The photos above are of the castle he made for his school project,

complete with lowering drawbridge, and turrets (towers),

he even borrowed (on a permanent basis) two sheets of my dolls house wall paper to show the brick pattern, he painted the inside of the drawbridge, and then added lolly sticks to the outside of it, made his own flag, and cut up and stuck toilet roll inners to make the towers,

I am proud of him for doing this, even tho his teacher didnt show any encouragement to him,

Finished projects and more work in progress (wip)

Today I took time to upload 3 photos of the latest cards i have finished,

and I still have some wip, like knitting uncle bulgaria from the wombles, a black scotty dog, crocheting a lilac bed jacket, more cards to do as well, all this without whatever takes my fancy or orders that i get in as well,

I just love being busy crafting,

Have finally used my big shot

Hi,

I took time out yesterday and finally used my big shot, and using a cuttlebug i made this love pink background for the match its (which are uncomplete pictures until you stick the peel off on them to make them complete)

I also made another 34 decoupaged cards yesterday as well, but have not took photos, so dont panic i will not bore you, te he he,
