Well I was going to ....

Just a little post to say I was going to craft some more today,

but my middle son Hayden and I got into a fight (play fight)

and he jarred my arm, and I am now in a lot of pain again

with my shoulder, so might not be about tom either.

Just what I needed when I have my charity stall this weekend coming.

Gift Card Wallet

This little gift card wallet was made following the tutorial for the monthly

challenge over at Whimsy Stamps.

I used a penny black teddy, so it also goes into the challenge of cute & cuddly

over at One Stop.

I used the colours from Colour Dare of Brown, Kraft, and pale blue

also the bear counts as a furry friend for the challenge at Pollycraft.

Hoping I get enough time as want to make a few more of these little wallets for my charity stall

coming up this weekend, it will be sealed shut with a velcro fastener.

This also fits in with the colour challenge over at the digi shack.

Card for a friend who is blue,

I have a dear friend who is a blogger as well,

that is under the weather, and also feeling blue,

if you have a moment please pop over to her blog to give her some love.

so today I made this card for her to cheer her up.

She lives quite close by and my son has delivered it already,

so I know its safe to post,

I followed the sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar

I stamped and embossed this lovely friends image,

then watercoloured it, the rest is bits from my stash.

I used a rub on greeting for the 'BEST FRIEND'

so it counts for the challenge over at 2RedBananas

Whiff Of Joy DT Application

There is a shout for a GDT at Katharina's blog,

I am applying fot it and I

have had the most enjoyable day making these lovely items.

I have started of with a scrap page, its a 8" x 8" page,

and the planes are what I took photo's of when we was away earlier this year.

the writing says ' angels of the sky'

I used water colour pencils to colour my Whiff of Joy image in with and

distressed the edges of her cloud with a light blue chalk.

This scrap page I am also entering into the scrap it challenge over at

Charisma Cardz.

Then using the same stamp, as I am limited with the stamps I have.

I made this little pizza box, so it can be used as a gift box for christmas.

This time I used sakura pens to colour her in with.

Then I made this little phone or handbag charm using shrinkie,

and coloured with sakura pens again.

This last photo is of a notepad I made the other day using the same

stamp. but I think they all have a different look to them.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me,

as this would be a dream to achieve a GDT for these lovely stamps.

Good Morning,

Having got up at 4am with my youngest not being well,

and off to the shops shortly to get uniform,

The Pink Elephant Sketch ....

Well actually it's not a pink elephant,

its either a leopard or cheetah,

I used a smaller one of the toppers to match the card I made

yesterday (see earlier posts) and followed the

sketch from the Pink Elephant.

Forever Friends Note Pad

lucky that I had some of the same flowers left as well.

One Card, lots of challenges,

One of the things that came in my package from CnC today,

was a set of cantilever templates, so this is my first ever cantilever card,

I made this and added embellishments etc, and then realised it fits in with 8

challenges, will list them near the end.

For the centre of the card, I used several 3d decoupaged floral embellishments.

The image is a penny black one, and I water coloured it,

cut it out and stuck it to the corner of the card, added faux stitching with

sakura pens to the lighter blue heart, and around the front of the card.

The challenges are -

Waste of time Sketch

There was me doing this card for Friday Sketers,

I AM SO ANNOYED

With myself,

I am rubbish at techno things,

I have been sitting here all day virtually trying

I just can't do it.

I know its simple, but I am so annoyed as I can't do it,

I have not even got any crafting done today because of it,

My First Ever ATC'S

I sat and made my first ever ATC'S last night,

I did a set of 6, and are all decoupaged,

Hooty Time

This lovely digi image comes from Digital Delights

and I am following the sketch over at Delightful Sketches

and seeing as its a owl (who normally hops along branches) it can go into the challenge

over at Digital Tuesday also entering it into Stamp, Scrap & Doodles challenge

I used my water colour pencils to colour this great image,

and the little cars along the bottom are punchies that I stuck on individually,

its all in blues apart from the owl and his scarf and the headlights.

Betty Boop Christmas

For my last post today I have made a christmas card, which is the theme for Simon Says

using my whisper pens, (water based) for Creative Belli challenge

and followed the sketch at Penny's Challenge and seeing as I used green holographic card

this counts as sparkle for the challenge at Whimsy

I do love my Betty Boop christmas stamps, so you will probably see a lot more

of her soon.

All the items I used on this card are from my stash.

Tag a notepad

For this project, I did another little notepad,

Its only a A6 size pad, I made the cover out of blue card,

then using a pale blue tag, I edged it in gold pen,

used a peel off and coloured that with sakura pens

Do I see spots, or dots or circles?

This card fits in with multi challenges,

I took the sketch from Funky Fairys

and used their backing papers, with the scraps left over I

made the flowers, the main embellishment is a small amont of foam covered

with material, then added to the scalloped oval, and then decorated with flowers

and a bow.

This also fits in with the challenges of -

Circles - Bumble Bees

Spots, Dots, and Circles - Creative Inspirations

Buttons - ABC

Altered Item not a card - recycling more stuff

Hi, this is the before I attacked it lol,

It was a empty shortbread tin,

I have decorated it quite plainly for a boy,

as they are so often forgotten or hard to do for.

I used a Mikey image from Charmed Crafts

and the paper was a 12 x 12 bit that I had used a bit of.

so this was in my scrap bag.

Here below is the results,

I even got hubby to put a slot in the metal lid to make it into a

money box.

this is another different item for my charity stall on the 5th n 6th Sept.

and I am entering it into the challenges over at

Dotties World - Altered Item

Truly Scrumptious - anything but a card

This makes me feel good when I can do things like this and save

what normally goes into the recycling bag.
