Just had to post one more for today,

 

I made this card this evening, and just had to post it before I am of to bed for the night, I think this picture is such a cutie,

I have used my favourite colour combinations at the moment,

which is pinks and whites, for the challenge  at Pink Elephant

I followed the sketch over at Delightful Sketches

here is a close up of the cute dog picture that I used, its been in my stash for a good while now, so just had to use it.

All of the items I have used on this card are either from my stash,

and the papers are from my scrap bag.

Sketch a colour Fairy

 

 

This card is for three challenges -

Colour Create – Pistachio Green, Powder Pink & Aqua Blue

Danni's Dreams – Fairy’s or Butterfly’s

Whiff Of Joy – Sketch

I followed the sketch on Whiff Of Joy, used the nearest to the colours on Colour create that I had, and the Fairy for Danni’s Dreams,

I stamped and embossed the Whiff of Joy image, and coloured her using water colours nearest to the ones needed in colour create challenge

I also used a new spray from crafters companion called spray & shine, which makes matt into a lovely gloss, even tho it doesn’t show up in the photo well.

and added two green paper flowers and gems.

Red, White and Blue Celebrations

 

There will be lots of celebrations soon over in the USA, and other country’s for the 4th July, and a few blogs have challenges that run along this theme, (see list at end)

So here is my card for the challenges, (yes as usual I have combined again) Just love it when I can do that.

All the papers are from funky fairy, see the link on side bar to get some freebies.

I stamped the bottle and the glass from the Daisy N Dandelion stamp sets.

I then coloured with sakura pens, and also chalked the background of the image.

I punched out the red, white and blue hearts that go along the ribbon, and then made 4 of them lovely flowers that I am addicted to at the moment.

add sequins and gems to the centre of the flowers as well.

I have not done a insert in this card as yet, as want to hand write it.

Good Evening Everyone,

 

Just thought I would pop on and say HI,

sorry not been about much today, have had the most hectic day,

I needed to get sponsorship for my son, so he could go on a Able, Gifted and Talented (brain box) weekend, with the lack of finances at the moment, this had to be done,

Then spent most of the afternoon on the phone to the people concerned to get him booked up, and arrange the two courses he wanted to do.

I really need to get more organised so that I can arrange things like this for him earlier, or know where I can get the finances from so don’t have to worry, when that invite falls through the door for another one of these events for him.

I haven’t got any craft pictures or items to show today, so thought I would share these lovely flowers my neighbour bought me, just for being a great friend and neighbour.

I love flowers, but even after nearly 20 years (August the 19th) of being married, my dear hubby still does not get me any, not even for my birthday which is next month (July).

I am hoping that its not to hot tomorrow like they reckon in the 30’s, so I can get down to some serious crafting, to make up for today.

Forever Friends Stamped Torn Sketch

 

Well the title just about sums this card up,

I stamped a forever friends bear, tore all the edges,

followed a sketch,

Now for a close up of the forever friends bear and torn edges,

and now these lovely lollipop flowers, I do like doing these,

this card is done in lilac, cream, and the base card is a marbled purple, there is two lovely tear drop gems in the top corner, and two star gems in the centre of the flowers.

So hot, but a cool card…..

 

It is so hot today, and I have been busy doing the usual boring things like food shopping, washing, gardening etc,

Just sneaked in a few minutes to make this card,

I think the colours are nice and cool,

I followed the sketch on Midnight Madness

the gems look silver but they are actually pale green,

to match along with the pale green and blue marbled backing paper, I also did a plain insert of the blue marbled patterned paper,

and as you can see I used artificial flowers for the cameo,

Sunflowers and fruity colours,

 

This nice cheery and bright card is for multi challenges,

The fruity colours are yellow for melons and lemons, red for strawberry's blue for blueberry which is the theme over at One Stop Craft,

I water coloured and a little sakura penned the image,

added gems and embellishments just to finish it off.

Little Mug full of goodies,

 

I made this little mug (pocket card) for multi challenges,

ABC – T is for Two Tone

Secret Crafter – Pretty Packaging

Stamping For The Weekend – Pocket Card

 

I just thought it being a mug is different from most pocket cards, and packaging, but can also be sent in a envelope instead of a box.

I used tones of purples on the whole thing apart from the branch and leaves. I used sakura pens and then chalked the background of the stamped image with purple chalk as well.

This particular little mug is filled with a couple of packets of Jolee’s Embellishments.

Anyone for the train to the beach?

 

Here is another card I made today,

This one is entering for the wheels challenge over at Cute Card Thursday

I used marbled blue card stock, cut out the template of the train,

and the wheels and attached them with brads, they actually go round,

added peel offs to outline the train and carriage, cut up a decoupage sheet I had for the children,

then used cotton wool for the train smoke, this train is on its way from the beach or to the beach, as the little girls are holding sea shells to their ears.

Cute Cat,

 

Second card of the day is this cute cat,

I followed the sketch and them of Animals over on Sketch and Stash

Everything apart from the crochet flowers was out of my stash,

the crochet flowers where new earlier this week and I had not used any till this card.

I decoupaged the lovely cat ,

I have done a plain white insert in this card, so didn’t take a photo of that to bore you with, hehehe,

Wedding Hearts….

 

This morning I made a lovely wedding card in a box,

It has two layers at the moment, I will add the last layer when I know the dates, names etc ,

This is the top layer, which is white card that I chalked around the edges, and then with pink heart centres that have a decoupaged wedding picture on them, the centre has pink gems to decorate it,

The bottom layer, is in pink, and has silver peel offs on it, one side has a brides dress and veil and the other side has a grooms suit with top hat,

Looking Through The Window

 

For my second post today,

I made this window themed card for the challenge over at

CAARDVAKS

 

I used my window template set, added acetate for the window pains and stamped the cat and the curtains, cut them out and backed them with a patterned paper to make it look like wallpaper,

then mounted all of this onto a brown card,

I then added various flowers from my stash to make it look like a flower garden under the window, I also added pearly doodles to the centres of the flowers.

I am also entering this into the challenge over at Charisma Cardz

where the theme is anything goes.

Another Christmas Card

 

Yes I know, I am posting bright and early today,

This is another Christmas card, that I made this morning,

I was up with the larks, nice and early,

I have used a CHARMED digi image Mikey,

altered it slightly, by adding a Christmas hat and presents,

The backing paper came from a kit from create and craft, from last year before Christmas, and I am trying to use up my stash so I can get new stash, lol.

I followed the sketch on Pink Elephant, and the theme of Christmas from Dottie's World

Can You Help – Crochet flowers for cards

 

Well after a very hot morning spent at my youngest sons sports day, I just needed to sit a rest, as my feet have swollen yet again,

 

So I made three little crochet flowers with the idea of using them on cards, instead of paper flowers etc,

But, (this is where I need help) I am undecided on which style and size,

Here you can see all three,

 

First question is that are they preferred with the tails left on, or fastened of,

Second questions is which size do you think would be better to sell,

Blue one is approx 2.5cm wide,

White one is approx 1.5cm wide,

brown one is 1cm wide,

Third question is how many and how much?

Multi Challenge Card….

 

Here is my last card for today,

and as per my usualness it is a multi challenge card,

 

sorry for the skew whiff photo, will get another one done in the morning, when the lights better,

I water coloured the penny black image, and added the words Bee Mine!!!  as I thought them apt for this image.

then mounted it on to a hand embossed diamond, then onto a hand embossed white background, and onto red card stock.

Blue Snowman,

 

Yes in this lovely hot weather today, I wanted to cool down this afternoon, so I made a Christmas card,

All in shades of blues, I even paper pieced the snowman,

and added two different blue glitters.

Had fun and more bracelets,

 

Had a lovely blog friend round this morning,

Helped to start her of learning how to crochet,

well done, you picked it up well for a first time,

Not going to say her name, as I don't want to embarrass her,

But I really enjoyed my morning, thank you for coming round. x

 

Here I have made a couple more bracelets,

so just put them on my cutting mat to take a quick photo before I am of on the school run,

BLACK & RED Word Book.

 

This afternoon I made my first word book,

I was asked by a friend to do a ‘HOME’ word book,

with no extra embellishments etc, as they want to add their own pictures etc.

So as you know me, just had to make it fit in with a challenge,

which is Black plus one over at Creative Card Crew

I used holographic card in black and red to make the letters,

then also used red and black ribbon to tie it with,

Yay, at last a card from me,

 

I sneaked some time in, instead of housework,

and made this card,  oh my it’s so good to get over the lack of making cards.

This is a stair fold which I altered round to stand on its side,

On the first step is a lovely beaded charm mounted on bronze backing,

The second step has a decoupage little lad with a massive bunch of flowers,

Then on the last step, it has a multi layered saying,

that was sent to me by a friend,

this is in purples and pinks.

I am entering this into 3 challenges that are -
