Brag Book Page 2 - Male Summer

This morning I have done the second page in my brag book,

I have left the white area blank so the person that buys it can either write on there or put their own picture/photo on there.

I used a lovely Mo Manning image coloured with my whisper pens, this reminds me of the summers with my brother and our dog, as he was always mischievous and would not have surprised me if he had hid frogs in his pockets.

I follows the sketch from Sketch N Stash, the swirls are new from my crafty friend Leigh,

as I don't have a cricut so she kindly sent me some thank you very much Leigh.

What I have been creating today ....... (warning lots of photos)

Today has been a good day,

I got a lovely phone call from a dear crafty friend, (she knows who she is - lol)

I hope her appointment goes well this afternoon.

All three boys washed, dressed and ready to go to school this morning as it was last day for a week, so happy to go and get home again lol, can't wait for the lay in's.

I sat and decided not to paper craft but make some jewellery,

these are 3 memory wire choker's that I have made today.

I really need to save up and get a new camera or a model, mmmm which would be cheaper?

the first one is multi coloured with a nearly white with pink flower large bead in the centre.

The second one is in shades of blue,

with a gorgeous large floral blue bead in the centre,

the beauty of memory wire chokers is that you don't have to fiddle doing them up,

I am selling these and the proceeds will go to my local animal rescue centre.

The third and final one for today is in shades of black with a little silver,

The large bead in the middle this time is black background with a pink flower on it.

Shaped Birthday Card ---------

Here is the shaped birthday card I made this morning for a customer,

I used papers from the V.Funky cd, and as requested pink gems to make out they where pink tourmaline, which is the birthstone of October so I am told by my customer,

I added a pink ribbon around the hat that has white and brown circles on it, just like the hat pattern as well,

the photo below shows how the card can stand up,

sorry for state of photo's but the weather is cold and wet here today so very hard to take nice photo's.

Paul's 50 Shed ..............yes this is the shed I made lol

This is the shed I made yesterday,

it is for my mum and dad to give to my cousin Paul for his 50th this weekend coming,

he loves his gardening so just had to make him a shed,

as you can see by the top photo that the flowers, butterflies, dragonflies overhang the edges,

and below in this photo is a few things that you would find in a shed.

no patterned paper was used to make this,

the shed was made from a template I had bought a long while ago.

the photo below is how it stands out of the box that I made to fit it as well.

the box is just plain white so didnt take a photo of that, as it would be boring lol.

Start of a brag book .............

Oh Boy Oh Boy!!!

I have been very crafty today,

I made a shed, and started on this paper bag brag book,

will get more pages done as I go during this week,

The cover I chose to follow the sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday,

As you can see by the above and below photo that I have put a base layer of paper on all the pages and covers.

I used gold ribbon to tie it down the spine,

also used my whisper pens to colour in this great penny black dog image.

The penny black challenge is lots of dots, Ladybirds have lots of dots.

This falls into the following challenges -

O what a day ...........

Phew what a scorcher it has been,

I had walked my little dog early so he didnt get to hot and will walk him again later when its cooled down,

and thought okay now I can craft, but my brother turned up, my mum phoned, hubby rang, had to ring british gas over a mess up with my gas bill, then it was time to go to school to collect my youngest son from his weekend trip away with the school, he was abseiling, wall climbing, zip lining, etc etc, had a great time, but had to go back at 12.30 as they where late,

then when he got home he decided he wanted to go to tesco's for lunch in the cafe,

so have not got any paper crafting done at all today,

my dear friend Den popped round for a chat this afternoon, so started crocheting small granny squares for afghan.

Here are the two green and white dish clothes that I finished this weekend while babysitting on Saturday night and Sunday morning, these are crocheted in eco cotton.

Fingers crossed that tomorrow I will get time to paper craft if it is not to hot.

Elvis Phone/Bag Charms .........

Today I have been crafty,

I know its a wonderful day out there weather wise,

but hubby is getting our campervan ready for use again soon.

So why not stay out of the sun, (I don't sun bathe) and craft,

I made these two Elvis phone/bag charms.

I stamped the image onto the shrink plastic with stays on,

then added the hol, cut them into shape and got my heat gun out and shrunk them,

I hope to put these onto ebay to sell later, and the funds apart from the postage will go to my local animal rescue centre charity.

I am entering these into the challenge of 2 of something over at Stamp Something.

Froggy Update Please read ..... and maybe help as well

I am so proud of my youngest son Declan,

I made this bookmark for the Character Cafe Challenge, and for my son to encourage him to read more, we came across this sad story on LISA'S BLOG,

Pond Frogs Book Mark .........

It is the Character Cafe's new challenge today,

which is -

Ribbon or Bow,

Tag,

2 Buttons,

I decided to make a book mark to encourage my youngest son to read more,

So I printed the pond frogs several times, (one of the new release digi stamps this month)

and cut them out to make 3d decoupage,

I used ribbon on the top in blue suitable for a boy, and the two buttons where meant to be bubbles from the water, which is distressed chalks that the frogs are floating on the lily pads on.

Hope you can see it better in this close up.

Male Get Well Card in 3d

Today I had a urgent order from my neighbour,

she needed a get well card for her son, she wanted a lovely garden image,

and a jack russel and a labrador on it,

So here is what I came up with,

A beautiful 3d decoupaged hand cut picture of a lovely garden scene with butterflies,

and at the bottom either side of the writing is the dogs.

The inside is similar but won't be shown as its personal to the lady who has ordered it.

Flower Frame ..............

I made this flower frame, (excuse the dots as the children are not mine) for a friend,

with a recent photo of her two children,

It is made out of a 12 x 12 scrap page and I followed the directions in my tutorial which you can find listed on the left hand side of my blog.

What a girly card?????

Yesterday, this is one of the cards I made,

It was for a order from a friend and they wanted a young girly card,

so this is what I came up with using my glitter girls boards.

It is all embossed, hand cut, and decorated with peel offs, mirri board, and coloured papers for the lamp, and whisper pen for the perfume bottle.

I am entering this card into the challenge that started on spoonfull of sugar this morning,

which is cute and girly.

Happy Monday Morning to everyone,

This is the first of some cards I have been making that I can now show you,

I really like this card and I am very happy with it,

I used a Bugaboo Digi Image, coloured with my watercolour brown pencils,

the papers I used are from my precious stash of fairy papers, and they are in shades of brown as well, I followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers, did some faux sewing on some of the layers,

torn some of the layers and edged them with distressing ink, added a few brads from my unused stash as well, colour my peel off greeting in brown permanent ink before putting it on my card.

Used a ribbon bow as the stopper on the bottom half of the easel card.

Latest Crochet from me ........

I finished of these two dish cloths today,

the top one is a holey pattern, and the one below is a bobbly pattern.

Both are crocheted in Patons Eco cotton yarn.

I also sold 15 cards today, and have orders to make 4 more tomorrow,

and also got to make a shed as well so will be busy over the weekend and might not get time to get on blog land, so hope you all have a great weekend,

I am going to try and enter these for the anything but a card challenge over at Stamp, scrap and doodle, not sure if they qualify tho, hopefully they will.

Oooo I got time to do a card ......

As you might have noticed I have been absent from blogger for a couple of days,

that is because life called for me to be busy in other things like,

Doctors appointments.

hubby was at home for a couple of days,

the boys wanted more attention than usual,

we took our new little dog Joey to see Nanny & Grandad for the afternoon,

and time has just flown,

but this morning I managed to sit down and make a card,
