Autumn Dog ........

Can you tell I just love this little doggy, (from squigglefly)
The last one was black and white, this time I have coloured him with my
water colour pencils (no water tho).

The theme of Autumn from Fun With Shapes,
Autumn days Theme from Allsort's,
and Punches or die cuts from Dare u2 Digi,
I even coloured the dear little pooch in white and then a few strokes of grey
The leaves that make the frame and in each corner are all hand punched and glued individually.

Right, I am of to knit for the evening,
So back tomorrow with more crafty bits,
Thanks for popping by,

Hummingbird Heaven

For my last card of today, I did this beautiful hummingbird,
stamped and embossed in gold.
I used the Lili of the Valley sketch,
Funky Fairy Papers and theme of doodles (see stitching on card)
and Paperplay's theme of spots.

I hand drew all the stitching around all pieces on the cards,
and added a couple of flower gems in blue to match the colour scheme.

Back tomorrow with more craftyness,
Thanks for popping,
means a lot to receive the lovely comments.
I appreciate them all.

Cuttlebug Centrepiece

For my centrepiece for this weeks Cuttlebug challenge,
I made this lovely flower holder for the centre of the table.
you will have to excuse the artificial flowers I have used as I don't get
real flowers given to me any more (sob, sob, sob - lol)

I carried on with the theme of the bells I have been using this month for
Cuttlebug challenges, and embossed with my cuttle bug folder the centre of the bells.
added 3 mini bouquets of flowers, one to each bell.

This is made around a small beaker I was going to throw away so is also
recycling, which I like to do.
Thanks for looking,
Back later with another crafty item.

sporting sketch,

Today's crafting ended up with a card that I am happy with,
I used my new stamp from Whimsy, and water coloured it,
the marbles grey background and sport ball paper are from my stash.
There is a little stop watch at the bottom of the baseball player.

I followed the sketch over at papertake weekly,
the theme of sport from Charisma Cardz,
Stitching (faux) from Simon Says,
and Whimsy's challenge this week is eyelets, I don't have any
eyelets or the tools to do them with, so I drew eyelets on,
not sure if it will count, but hey worth a try. lol.
It sure feels good getting back to card making,
my shoulder is good now, so hopefully will be to normal with lots of posts etc.
Thanks for looking,

What a lovely day,

Well, it is a lovely day, I nipped out to Tesco's this morning,
bumped into a friend and ended up in Pizza Hut for lunch,
I won't be eating tonight, but must admit have remembered why we don't go in
Pizza Hut anymore, apart from the prices, the staff have forgotten manners,
and customer service is rubbish, what happened to the days where the customers
where priority and you had to serve with a smile?
I did make this wonderful card for a order I have of a regular customer.
this card is decoupaged, inside and out.
The papers came from crafters companion vintage times floral disc.
Am of to catch up on housework I haven't done,
and maybe some knitting to get that bad unicorn out of my mind.
Might manage to fit in another card today, but if not will be card making again
tomorrow.
Hope you all have the most wonderful weekend.
thanks for stopping by,
it means so much to me.
The above card is being entered into the challenges over at -
In the Cottage Studio - Inside & Out

For this card, I wanted to try a new shape, and my new digi image,
this fabulous elephant is a new digi image that I bought from
I used water colours on both of my elephants,

The second elephant is used on the inside as a pop up,
this is the first pop up card like this I have done,
I did it for the decorate the inside challenge over at

Thanks for looking,
might be back a little later with another card I am working,
that is for a order I received yesterday.

Yehaaaaa I am back crafting, but can ya guess what it is?

Today I have finished off this knitted creation, can you tell what it is?
Can you tell that I am not happy with it?
Its meant to be a unicorn,
but I don't like it, I am hoping someone out there will buy him,
to help with the labrador rescue charity that I support.
He is approx 13" long, and approx 11" high from the tip of his horn to the bottom
of his feet.

I have made a card as well,
but I can not show that one as the person who ordered it does not
want the photo's I used of her children shown on here.
so you will have to wait for a card.

I cant stand it no more .........

I can't stand not crafting anymore,
Not that I would have had time to today anyways,

It all started when my youngest didnt feel well enough to go to school,
so I knew it was going to be a pestered day,
then this afternoon, a man (who I knew) came to use my phone as he had found a man layin in a garden and couldnt find anyone else in, so he could ring the police,
well it ended up that the unknown man was in my friends garden,
so I rang her and found her daughter home who freaked out when I told her to not panic and that there was a man in the front garden, she started screaming, so I started running and went to her, (not a pretty sight me running - lol)
the police, ambulance and air ambulance arrived at the house the same time I did,
I only had to run about ten houses down the road,
she came back with me after I had calmed her down,
it ended up the man was asleep in her garden as he had been drinking,
and was homeless and didnt know what to do as he was Russian,

My shoulder feels a lot better today,
so I might sneak in a bit of crafting tom,

I have a fantastic finish to my day, I found out I won the Tuesday Taggers
challenge, and will be a guest dt on there soon,
so watch this space.

Hope your all well,
hugs

No Crafting but had a wonderful day ......

Started off by thinking my friend Holly and I was going for a frappucino
and we took a deter to the 'cheap shop' (yes thats what its called) at Tiptree, in Essex. (not far from where we live).

As you can see we had a laugh,
this is my friend Holly's first time in there, (its like Aladin's cave)
it doesn't look much from the outside but wait till you go inside.
they do everything, from card making items, material, wool, patterns, etc etc,

The above photo is Holly falling in love cuddling some awesome wool
that she found there, awesomeisms as my son would say.
I was ever so good I bought a couple of mini canvases, and some wool in
cotton to crochet some dishcloth's from.
On the way home we detered into Franky and Bennie's for a fantastic dinner.
Hoping to be able to craft tomorrow.
Thanks for a great day Holly.

Good Morning, and a question?

Good Morning All,

I have a question for you,
if you don't mind helping me please,

I adore digi images, but when I go to water colour them,
the ink I printed them with tends to bleed as well.
I have a Hewlett Packard c280 all in one printer.
I use 200 gram plus paper for the images.

Can anyone please tell me what I can do to stop the ink from bleeding.
as I love to water colour not just using my pens instead.

Thanks for taking the time to read,
and for your answers.

Update on Doctors visit

Well thanks to my friend,
I went to the doctors and stayed for my injection,
I can already move my arm better without the stinging pain I used to have,
but its very achy and sore at the moment,
the doctor said it will be very stiff for a couple of days,
but to rest it and then get back to normal asap after that.

So I might not be crafting for a couple of days depending on
how my shoulder and arm react to the steroids.

I am hoping that I can, as I cant cope without my crafting.

will still be blog hopping tho,
so still able to leave comments.
hugs
Angie

Just to let you know,

I am of to the doctors this morning,
to get my shoulder sorted,
should be having a steroid injection in it.
I am so nervous etc, as I hate injections, dont like the thought of
needles, hence why I have never had a tattoo either.

Not sure of the effects,
so I might not be crafting today,
but if I am ok, I will be back crafting.
Have a great day everyone.

Had lovely day .....

Well as you can see by not many posts today, I have been busy,
I went out with my mum and dad, and got myself some more white card to stamp on,
and bought a 12 x 12 scrap album ready to do for them for a christmas gift.
They then went and got their holiday pictures, so I borrowed the disc and
now have nearly 300 photos to choose from to put in their album.

After I got back, I started on this recycling project,
and tied it in with a few challenges as usual. (see list at bottom of post)

This vase started its life as a fruit juice carton,
I cut of the top, then covered it in funkyfairy paper,
punched the scalloped edges on the green paper.

I stamped one of my favourite images, and water coloured her.
then cut the edges with my scallop scissors, and distressed them with pale green.
Becouse these are water proofed this would make a lovely flower container as a
little extra to give when giving a bunch of flowers.

The challenges are -
Whimsy Monthly - Distressing
Die Cuts R Us - Anything (including punches or die cuts)
Stampavie and more = Think Pink
Funky Fairy - Recycle
Cute Card Thurs - Pink & Green

Thanks for looking,

3D Christmas Card

The base card is a hammered white, to give more effect of snow,
I printed and hand cut the decoupaged victorian scene from Cute Companions,
Decoupaged it up using pinflair glue gel.
then when that had dried, I mounted it on silver mirri board.
I have a green ribbon with christmas sentiment running acroos the silver mirri
board strip, and 3 green shiney stars in the top right hand corner.

I have added sparkles to lots of different places where the snow has
mounted up.
(this looks miles better in real life - its raining still cant get a good photo.)
the door even opens to show the inside of the shop as well.

I am entering this into the following challenges.
The Crafty Pad - Christmas Sparkle
Winter Wonderland - Vintage Christmas
In The Cottage Studio - Wood Grain (see the doors)
Thanks for looking,
No More posts today as going to play the wii or knit.

Oriental A4 Birthday Card

Another quicky that I made this morning,
A large A4 oriental birthday card,
This card was made up with a A3 piece of card folded in half,
then the front half folded back on itself.
then using a oriental backing sheet made the insert.
for the front panel I used two oriental coins and a smaller card front
mounted onto gold mirri board.

This is for the Oriental challenge over at Simon Says.
So glad they said you dont need to have a oriental stamp to join in,
as I dont have any yet, but will shortly as won a lovely set from Carol's Sketch Fun Challenge.
Thanks for looking,
Back again later with more.

so apologies for the photo's as cant go outside to take nice ones.
