Using a A3 sheet of card folded in half, and then backing papers from my craft studio,
hand cut and decoupaged the cute teddy in the pram,
added embossed frame around the image, and used the left over from the centre of the frame to mount the little green edged tag on.

I cover the plaque and tube in matching paper from my stash.

stamped and coloured the footy teddy and then printed the words football mad from a crafters companion disc.
The colours had to be red and white as my son Hayden supports Arsenal.

I am entering this into the following challenges -

1 Little Card - 7 Challenges

I had fun making this card this morning,
I originally started out with the sketch from Stamps & smiles and also Our creative corner,
used My favourite colour from Bee Crafty, which is Lavender (purples) the challenge from Easy Craft Projects, and think its girly for Stamp Scrap & Doodle, and being a birthday card for Crafty Catz, Chalks is Pennys Papercrafty challenge, so that makes 7 challenges.
I used some lavender paper from my stash onto a purple card stock, added a purple ribbon,
coloured the penny black image with my water colours and chalked the edges of the image with purple chalk, even had a purple sentiment for it out of my stash as well.

Thanks for stopping by on this dull, cold day,
we have no snow yet, but for all of you that do,
stay safe and warm.
Hugs

Comical Get Well Card

My uncle Ron has just had a hip replacement,
so to cheer him up thought I would make him a card,
I 3d decoupaged this fun image,

The backing paper is from my stash, and has spots on it, and with the image being in a circle as well, I can enter this for the challenge of CIRCLES over at The Treehouse Blog.
Also becouse I have not used any stamped images or digi images I can enter this at Creatalicious Challenge as well.
The insert just had to have a plane on it, as my uncle Ron likes planes.

Thank You for popping by,
Of to crochet now,

Nice, Bright, and Cheery on this dull snowy day

One of my New Years resolutions is to use up my stash and also try things new,

The Sketch for this card is something I have never done before,
I have never drawn my own sketch before I have always followed someone elses sketch.

The other new thing I used was my Crafters Companion CD, that I got before Christmas but had not used it yet, I have been ever so good this year so far, I have only bought one cd, no papers or other craft items yet, that is one resolution that I may break. lol.

I wanted to make a easel card, which was nice and bright and cheery on this dull snowy day.
I fell in love with this pyramage and invertage image with matching backing paper.
The ribbons I used on this card are recycled from presents and bits from Christmas as well.

I drew this sketch below, and the above photo's are the end result.

I originally started off doing this card for the Its a Crafter's Companion challenge,
then found it fitted these others as well -
Easel Card - Stampavie & More
New Items - Crafty Cardmakers
Girly Card - Cupcake Craft
New Years Resolutions - 3 Clovers

Thanks for stopping by,
your comments mean the world to me,

FINISHED CARDIGAN - ALL MINE

Yehaaaa, I have finished knitting MY cardigan,
I started late evening on the 27th Dec, and finished this yesterday the 12th January,
I did not sit continuously all day and evenings doing this, it grew quite quick as it was on BIG needles, and very thick wool, the photo's are not that good as the weather here today is dull, and it keeps snowing, to fine to settle thankfully.

It is a nice heather mix in colours.
Cost me £45 in wool alone, and is nice and thick and heavy will make a lovely jacket to wear.

I can not believe I have actually made myself something!!
But I am sure glad I did.

Off to craft more now.
Thanks for stopping by

Character Cafe Tutorial Tuesday - Gift Bag/Box

Hi and welcome to my first Character Cafe Tuesday Tutorial of 2010,
Supplies required for this gift box/bag are
8.5" x 11" piece of card,
Ribbon, scoring tool, scissors, hole punch, edging punch, and a Character Cafe Image.
I have used the poinsettia.
Down the long side of the card score at 2", 5", 7", and 10"
then down short side of card score at 2" and 7",
as above photo.
then cut along the two inch line leaving just one flap,
as the photo shows below.

Also cut down the score lins as shown below.
so this can be folded to make the base of the box.

On the single flap you did not cut off, I used a edging punch to make a fancy edge.

I have used double sided tape to show you where to stick,
this is one side where I have stuck on the side edge and along the two edges of the main bottom piece.

Then on the inside of the other large bottom piece.
I would have usually used wet glue here,
Stick the side of the box/bag together first, then the bottom that has the two rows of the tape on,
so that the two side flaps stick to this, then the other large bottom piece which covers the rest.

I used my hole punch to put two holes in the flap,
marked these with a pencil onto the front of the box/bag, and then hole punched them out as well, so they lined up.

I printed out two of the character cafe poinsettia coloured them using my whispers pens,
cut the flower part out, and using double sided pads, or pop dots and made it into a decoupaged topper.
Stuck the Character Cafe Poinsettia image to the front of the box/bag and thread matching ribbon through and tied into a bow.
And this is the finished product, ideal for all kinds of gifts,
Hope you found this tutorial helpful.

3D card - Pyramage again - Flying Scotsman

This is one of the other cards I mentioned in a earlier post that I did yesterday,
This one is another pyramage (seems to be the in thing for me at the moment) as it is a fairly quick thing for me to do.
It is A4 again in size as well, and this time it is for my friends dad, and has the flying scotsman on the front of it, again I have tiled the picture to make backing papers for the front and inside of the card, and again the pyramage is 5 layers high, and mounted onto mirri board.

I am entering this card into the 3d challenge over at Our Creative Corner.
Thanks for stopping by,
Back tomorrow with my dt project for the new Kaboodledoodles challenge.
Hope you have all had a great weekend,
Hugs
