wahoo, i back online,

Well, i am so happy to have my phone and internet back, it was gone for 4 days,

i couldnt stay online for more than a few minutes at a time, due to a flood and having to get a cable replaced by the phone company,

And i have made some cards after what felt like years of not making any, as have had problems with my eldest son with s suspected hernia, then no internet, and wow to much other stuff to bore you with, but things are looking up again now,

above are pictures of the latest cards and a knitted penguin that is approx 11" for a lady that ordered it,

looking forward to getting time to look at other blogs again now,

here are the latest two cards i have found time to make,

my eldest son is home and not at school for this week, as he got hurt and we had to take him to hospital twice to get it sorted, nothing major but his private parts hurt badly where he got hit in them by another pupil at his school, so he is recouperating at home, and my dear hubbys been home on a couple of days holiday so just literally got nothing done much, apart from a little bit of knitting, and i taught myself to crochet a 3d bell ornament, which again i didnt photo before i gave it to my friend,

the hannah montana card is for a friend, and the fish tank card, is made from michael strong vase stamped onto shrinkies, then coloured, and made into fish in a glass (acetate) fish tank,

i entered it into a challenge on the michael stongs yahoo group, which i joined recently,

After spending a fair bit of time at the hospital with my eldest son becouse some nice person hit him in the private area, and he is in great pain, i havent had much time to craft, i have been knitting a doggy jumper and have got 3 more to do,

but above is the piccys of the two cards i took time out to make today, as they where for friends,

After Hurting My back on Friday, i made these crafty items,

Hello Everyone,

After hurting my back on Friday, getting down my christmas decorations without waiting for hubby, i couldnt do much but sit, so made the above items that you can see photos of,

the two cards are both monochrome unicorns,

then as a few of you know i am teaching myself how to crochet of the internet,

so i crocheted a preemie beenie hat/cap and matching pair of socks, this time i followed a pattern instead of a video, the same for the little mob hap pin cushion,

then i sat and knitted a 1:12th scale dolls house child beanie hat/cap and matching mittens as well,

after finishing knitting i tried to do a lovely bookmark in the shape of a angel, again from a pattern, and i chose the purple to do it in, as its my favourite colour,

New Year New Craft Items,

HERE ARE MY FIRST HAND CRAFTED ITEMS I HAVE FINISHED THIS YEAR,

YES 2009, WHERE DID 2008 GO TO, HOPE FOR EVERYONE THAT 2009 IS BETTER,

THE FIRST TWO PICTURES ARE OF A 1/12TH SCALE HAND KNITTED LACEY PATTERNED CAPE FOR A LITTLE GIRL SIZE DOLL FOR A DOLLS HOUSE,

THESE TAKE SOME TO KNIT AS THEY ARE KNITTED ON VERY TINY NEEDLES,

AND THE LAST IS A HOBO SLOUCH MESSENGER BAG THAT I HAND CROCHETED,

I TAUGHT MYSELF TO CROCHET OF THE INTERNET OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD,

HAVING ALREADY DONE A SHELL PATTERNED SCARF WHICH I DIDNT PHOT BEFORE I GAVE IT TO MY MUM FOR CHRISTMAS, AND TWO BEANIE HATS ALREADY I DID THIS GREAT BAG, SAVE THE OZONE AND DONT USE CARRIER BAGS,

HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A SUPER 2009 AND YOU GET PLENTY OF TIME TO DO WHAT YOU WANT, THE DUST BUNNYS WILL STILL BE THERE TOM, SO ENJOY YOURSELVES,
