Purple Hearts Throw / Blanket

Hello everyone,

Here are some photo's of the elusive purple hearts throw/blanket that I kept on about,
I finally got some decent photo's done today so am showing of my hand work,
these are all hand knitted squares by myself and then made into a lovely throw/blanket.

I must admit I enjoyed knitting all of these,
wasnt that keen on sewing them all together, thats why it took so long as kept looking at the completed squares and found something else to do instead of sewing them together,

I have also knitted the edges on the complete throw to finish it of nicely,
this is going in my folksy shop over this weekend,
so hope someone likes it enough to buy it.

Couple more knits for you ..................... Hot Water Bottle covers/cosy

Just thought I would grab two minutes to pop in and see you all,
hope you are enjoying half term week like I am with my 3 boys,
so not getting much time to do anything crafty this week at all,
these two hot water bottle covers (cosy's) are both hand knitted by myself,
and yet again for sale in my folksy shop.

Another cushion cover ...................

I actually felt like making a card today, but had to do the boring things like food shopping etc,
and ended up running out of time after cooking a lovely roast beef dinner,
and also daylight and sunshine helps, so hoping I feel like it in the morning,
Anywhooo these photo's are another cushion cover that I knitted a couple of days ago,
the front is a lovely bright pink (not dayglo derek pink tho) and then you can see the buttons on the back on the other photo.
I have been knitting a jellybaby soft toy last night, and will get it finished tomorrow evening,
so that will be on here soon, and also my lovely patchwork heart blanket when my son gets the photo of my new camera.

White Aran Cabled Cushion Cover ..................

This cover is for a 16" square cushion (pillow)

Honeycomb Blanket/Throw

Happy Valentines Day everyone,
These photo's are of my honeycomb blanket or throw that I crocheted,
its done in shades of yellows for the main squares and edged in white,
this will be for sale in my Folksy shop very soon.
Have just done my back in, getting some wool out of the understairs cupboard,
so in pain trying to find out what is best, sitting, laying, standing etc,
in between crying lol, never mind a hot bath later on will sort it out.

With or without the flower, need an opinion please ....

Now you can see what I have been knitting today,
two ear warmers, I had a order for the cream one and with the flower,
but I prefer the blue one without the flower, not for colour just flowerless lol,
want to sell some of these so thought I would ask for your opinions to see which would sell better,

Not sure on price at the moment, as the flower does take up a fair bit of wool,
these do keep your ears warm, the lady in the photo below told me, hehehehe,

Hats Off !!!!

Hello everyone,
hope your going to have a super crafty day today,
here are some photo's of some beany hats that I have knitted over the last couple of weeks.

They are all nice and warm and soft, as I have knitted them out of chunky (thick) wool,
today I knitting ear warmers as they tend to be the fashion around here at the moment,
will post a photo of the ear warmer when I have finished it.
I am of to take photo's of my cushion (pillow) covers first so have something to show you tomorrow.
All of my hand knitted items are going to be for sale in my folksy shop (see link in side bar).

Just for cuddles or is it a sleepy head?

Hello everyone,
Here are a couple of photo's of a knitted owl soft toy I have knitted,
he is approx 12" tall, and is ready for bed with his sleepy eyes and nightcap and shirt on.
I will be listing him in my Folksy Shop with all the other things I have knitted over the last two or three weeks, will show more photo's over the next few days as well on here.

Anyone for a cuppa?

Good Morning everyone,
Hope you are all well, would you like a cuppa?
Here is a tea cosy that I finished knitting last night for a friend.
It is a cabled pattern, (for the non knitters you use a third little needle to swap stitches over to make the cable pattern)
and is in white and pale blue wool.
Below is a close up of the pattern.

Ellephantastic's New Challenge for February

Hello Everyone,
There was a new challenge from Ellephantastic started at the beginning of February,
it runs for all of February, so luckily I have not missed posting my coaster,
I did time post this and then went off for a few days only to find it had not come up on my blog,
so here it is a couple of days late,

DISTRESSING WITH A LOVE THEME

I did this lovely distressed picture of Roger with his valentines heart,
and can not find my card making mojo so made him into a coaster.
the outsides around Roger (digi available from Ellephantastic) I distressed with red chalk.
